Truth be told, I’ve been considering using this as a part of the new Free Samples segment since I first thought of it. Its actually one of the samples I’ve heard used recently that helped me come to the conclusion that I need to start the segment in the first place. After Etta James’ recent passing, I came to the quick conclusion that a very large amount of today’s casual fans of music have no idea about the origins of music.
